Accommodation in the family

The accommodation, which lasts on average 4 to 6 months, begins with a series of meetings of the foster parent with the minor first in the family home in the Centre, then at home and with the foster parent’s family. In this phase, every aspect linked to the trauma caused by abandonment suffered by the child, possibly not recovered and which could hinder or make the relationship with his future mother difficult, must be carefully evaluated together. In an equally accurate manner, the latter’s ability to be able to face the problems that may arise and be a healing tool for the child will be analysed.
